Holiday Acupressure Tips for Appetite Control
With Christmas and New Year celebrations just around the corner, it’s no surprise that this time of year often leads to overeating. But if you’re like me and hoping to avoid holiday weight gain, try the following acupressure points before heading to big parties:
Ear Acupoints
Shenmen, Stomach, and Appetite Control Points
The Shenmen point helps calm the mind and activate nearby ear points to begin the treatment process. The Appetite Control and Stomach points can help suppress hunger and support weight management. Please refer to the diagram below for exact locations of these points.

Digestive system points on the legs
Spleen 6 – is found 4 finger breadths up from the inner side of each ankle, it helps to regulate the digestive system, promote better digestion and reduces bloating.

Spleen 9 – is found on the inner side of each leg below the knee near the head of the femur. It supports Spleen 6 in promoting better digestion and reduces bloating.

Stomach 36 – is found on the front of the leg below the knee and another key point to help improve digestion, energy levels and immune function.
Massage each point on both legs for 2 minutes each.
